CID Investigation as independent private scientific investigation entity treats thematics related to the special subject fields natural sciences (biology, medicine), geography (regional sciences), and history (territorial history, historic geography, social geography). Business interest of the enterprise CID, led as single person enterprise with the character of an investigation institute, is the drawing up of scientific studies, consultations and investigative reports related to the thematic study fields in own initiative or by order in commission.
Following the initial foundation reason of the enterprise from the year 1999 as PLAN E.U. Office in Santa Fe de Bogota D.E., Republic of Colombia, that was the implementation of the investigation and documentation project about the Berlin-settlements in Colombia and the building up of the ceramic workshop Piedras del Rio, most of the initially treated investigation thematics have been related with the CID-offices reference countries Germany and Colombia. Since the offices long term establishment at it`s new construction site near Frankfurt / Germany in 2002, this initial orientation begins to open to new regional as well as worldwide related thematics as detailled in the following report for example in case of the Orange-Nassau study.
The development of the enterprise CID between july 2000 and january 2009 is extensly documented in until now 13 reports presented at the correspondent pages of the CID-Publishing Internet Program at http://www.cid-verlag.blogspot.com, several of the latest reports in german language can be consulted directly in Internet. The latest actual report covers the period from january 2007 until january 2009 and is accessible under http://www.cid-report-2009.blogspot.com.
Economic reason of the office strived for is the independent financing by investigative reports, studies, consultations or translations in commission, selling of publications from CID Publishing, selling of image publication rights, photo-digitalizing and digital photo-processing from the Foto-CID photographic agency and selling of artcraft objects from the CID Arte Gallery. The actual state of development is maintained with about 90 percent external support by private donations as detailled in the yearly official finance report of the enterprise. Under this conditions also the following 2 years might allow the continuation of the CID Investigation activities in the same margin as in the here reported period. That means that prioritary will be extended the independent offices Internet scene as far as this won`t require greater investments in travel and transport for investigation and photographic documentation.

The CID Investigation Enterprise is internally structured in the sections Investigation, Publishing, Photography and Artistic Design. These 4 activity fields are represented by the office departments

The concentration of emphasis for the development of the single departments and the efforts for their consolidation are oriented at or limited by the respective given priorities, activity capacities and the usable financial margin. This presupposes, that the main activities during the past 24 month have been concentrated to the extension and reinforcement of the CID Internet scene.
The central CID office infrastructure consists since August 2008 in an newly established fixed-line Internet access provided by German Telekom, an Acer Aspire 5315 laptop with Linux Linpus system, an Canon PowerShot A640 10.0 Megapixel digital camera and an Internet scene consisting in a web of initially 9 interrelated Blogs (january 2008) that was completed and extended until a total number of 63 Blogs in january of 2009. During the here reported period between january 2009 and january 2011 this CID Blog Web increased over about 150 % until now 150 Blogs. An orientation map that describes the systematic construction of the information-network provided by CID contains the following chapter of this report with the adress http://www.deutschland-intern.blogspot.com.
Main reason for the overproportional extension of the information web was the conceptional decision to supply an direct acces for worldwide all Internet users to most of all CID investigation results and publications of CID Publishing House, this under consideration first of the concept of benefit for the public of an non-profit organization and second of the high cost and low rentability of providing scientific printed literature by an unestablished own publishing house.
For the presentation of it`s activities CID uses the public Internet platform of http:www.blogger.com that allows the edition, extension and actualization of Blog-Homepages that can be interrelated by `Links`, so that from the Offices Homepage, that is parallely edited in german, spanish and english language, can be reached all Blogs of the complete informational system following the thematic guidelines of the 4 office departments. This includes, that several Blogs that contain information related to two or more thematic groups can be found and accessed by several search options. The upside mentioned Blog-Map gives here an complete overview by thematic departments.
For all Blogs of the CID System is choosen an uniform design with black background and blue underlined Internet-directions for the connected Blog pages that can be opened by simple `clic` on the page directions or blue marked text parts. Due to an design change in 2010 the latest designed blogs follow unique a new design pattern (AWESOME AG by Tina Chen) with anthracite background and grey ( gray, but not blue ! ) marked text parts for directly linked pages. If the connection to the choosen Blog page remains blocked or disturbed, the opening intent should be repeated. If the site remaines without access, the written direction can be typed in the users Internet Browser adress field. If the access still is inhibited exists the further option to search the Blog in the editors presentation window `Mein Profil vollstaendig anzeigen / Show my profile completely` besides the blue CID image character at every Blog page upside right. But these lists are reduced to 100 Blog samplers, so that not every Blog might be found here, depending from which Blogger starting page it was created. In this case consult the Blog Map in the following chapter of this report and type the searched direction directly in your browsers adress field.
At the downside end of every Blog should be established a return option to the CID Investigation Homepage and / or the superordinate department Blog page and / or the directly related thematic page from where the Blog itself was reached by a Link. This allows not to get lost inside the informational web and to go on systematically with a started thematic search.
